Mix different colors of Wilton Candy Melts candy to get a whole new shade! Or, use Wilton candy colors to create custom candy shades by following our easy guide.
In order to break down the combinations of colors to the most basic level, we’ve provided this mixing chart based on individual Candy Melts candy discs. As long as you maintain the ratios shown, you should achieve the colors above. For example, 1 + 1 might translate to 5 of each disc for smaller details or it might translate to one 10 oz. bag of each to make candies for an event.

The sweet possibilities are endless with easy to melt wafers. Use them to dip strawberries, drizzle them on pretzels or mold them into shaped candies. They can also be used to decorate cakes, cookies and cupcakes, because everything’s better when it’s covered in candy.
I need to make a sage colored candy what colors do I mix
Hi Kavellia – I would start out with dark green and black and maybe some white to lighten, depending on the shade you’re looking for. We also sell candy color sets, which may be an easier way to get the color you want.

Hello,
Can you advise the candy melts ratio to get light gray and blush pink color please?
For light gray we recommend going heavier on the white and adding a little black. First melt the white candy melts and slowly add a little black until you get the desired color.
For blush pink, we suggest doing the same thing with heavier pink candy melts and adding a little bit of blue candy melts at a time until you get the right color. The royal blue candy melts are a strong color and a little would go a long way.
Can you use these to make a burgundy and a navy color? I’m looking to make candy for a wedding. Any suggestions are appreciated!
Hi Stacy, For burgundy, play around with red, pink, black, and light cocoa Candy Melts until you gets her desired shade. For navy you can try a combination of royal blue and black, maybe a little bit of lavender. Let us know how to turns out!
The color chart is very useful. Can you provide the color melt ratios to produce a cinnamon rose color? Thanks.
Hi Bob, Thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately, we have not tested a cinnamon rose color and would love to hear how it turns out. Happ baking!
