Last year, Wilton launched the Sweet Treat Team – a group of bloggers chosen to represent a variety of baking and decorating interests.
We were amazed at their creativity shared with us throughout the year and loved seeing the new recipes and decorating ideas they came up with for different holidays and celebrations. I truly enjoyed getting to know each of our bloggers and collaborating with them on new posts.
I’m happy to announce this year’s Sweet Treat Team and welcome back some of last year’s members as well as introduce some new ones.
Julianne Bayer – Beyond Frosting
Julianne’s mouthwatering recipes and gorgeous photography make my sweet tooth hurt! She’s always enjoyed baking and started her blog after taking a Wilton Method class. I enjoyed meeting her at a Better Homes & Gardens event in October and learned she’s already done some cool stuff with Wilton products. Can’t wait to see what she makes next!
Colby Shipwash – Days of a Domestic Dad
I stumbled upon Colby’s blog and really liked the look and feel of it. As a father of 5, he certainly has a lot to write about! I really got excited when I found a post he did in December using our Candy Melts candy. I’m happy to have him join our team and bet Colby and his family will have a lot of fun trying some new products this year!
Catherine (Cat) Davis – Food, Family & Finds
Catherine has been a Wilton ambassador for several years, starting with our Wilton Moms program we had in place a few years ago. She was part of the Sweet Treat Team last year and I’m so glad to have her again this year. I love Cat’s ideas because they’re impressive yet achievable and fun for the family to try.
Danielle Doerr – Framed Frosting
Danielle is also a veteran Sweet Treat Team member. She’s a busy college student, but that doesn’t stop her from adding to her dessert decorating skills and trying new things – like working with fondant! She’s full of enthusiasm and creativity, and we’re glad she’s able to join us again.
Beth Jackson Klosterboer – Hungry Happenings
Beth – the queen of amazing holiday creations…and beyond! I’m always wowed by what she creates, be it something savory (Jalapeno Cheddar Corn Bread Footballs for the Super Bowl, anyone?!) or something sweet. Beth has been a Wilton fan for years and her ideas for using Wilton products in new and different ways seem to be endless. She was part of the Sweet Treat Team last year and we’re so glad to have her with us again.
Marilyn Johnson – Pink Martinis and Pearls
Marilyn is also a second year STT member and a decorating diva! Her cookies, cakes, and other treats are simply stunning with beautiful colors and details. She is always full of fun ideas, loves to learn new ones, and enjoys teaching others. We’re lucky to have her inspirations to look forward to once again.
Karyn Granrud – Pint Sized Baker
Tasty pastries, rich recipes, and perfect cake pops – no really, they are picture perfect! – can be found on Karyn’s blog. Her cookies, dessert bars, and more send me into a sugar coma just by looking at them. Karyn’s blog is an endless source of inspiration for any party, holiday, or get together. I’m so excited to see what she makes next!
Callye Alvarado – Sweet Adventures of Sugarbelle
Callye has a lot of fans here at Wilton and her cookies are simply amazing. There truly are cookies for every occasion on her blog and I’m impressed by the way she takes a blank cookie canvas and turns it into something else entirely – for example, a hula girl cookie made from a snowman cutter. We’re so happy to have you join the STT this year!
Carlos Perez – The Man, The Chef, The Dad
Carlos joins us for a second year on the STT. Whether it’s a blog post or an email, he has me literally laughing out loud at my desk, all the time! His sense of humor really shines in his writing, and the recipes he’s created over the past year are unique and impressive – I mean, the s’mores shot glasses?! I just about died. Very much looking forward to more of your creations.
Susie (Sues) Anderson – We Are Not Martha
Last but certainly not least is Susie. She is another STT veteran and has been a great Wilton supporter over the years. I love her blog because her voice really shines through her writing and it’s fun to see how she works her life experiences in with a recipe. She’s also quite the mixologist with lots of unique drink recipes perfect for every season!
I’m so excited to see what the team creates this year and know they’ll bring us a lot of fun – and delicious – ideas this year.
Check out their blogs and let us know whose style you like best!
