New-Age Candy Bark

Color contrasts and unexpected toppings combine to make this swirled candy bark modern and new.  Two flavors of Candy Melts candy are loaded with salty pretzels, crushed ice cream cones, colorful sprinkles and freeze dried fruit for a treat that can’t be beat.

Step 1: Make cocoa candy base.

Melt 6 oz. light cocoa Candy Melts candy following package instructions.  Spread onto bottom of cookie pan, making a thin layer.  Chill until set, about 5-10 minutes.

Step 2: Prepare to decorate candy.

Break about 3 oz. light cocoa Candy Melts candy into pieces.  Break waffle cones into random size pieces.

Step 3: Make candy bark.

Melt white Candy Melts candy following package instructions; spread over light cocoa candy in cookie pan.  Melt remaining 3 oz. light cocoa Candy Melts candy in decorating bag; drizzle randomly on top of white candy.  Use toothpick to marbleize candy. Sprinkle broken Candy Melts candy wafers, waffle cones, cherry icing decorations and rainbow jimmies over candy base; lightly press into candy.  Chill until completely set, about 20-25 minutes.

Step 4: Prepare to serve.

Carefully remove candy from pan.  Let bark come to room temperature.  Break into pieces.
