Chocolate lovers, unite! We have a lot of different sweet treat recipes, but for those who just have to have chocolate, I’ve gathered some amazing recipes that you just have to try.
1. The Ultimate Quadruple Chocolate Brownie. I absolutely cannot say no to a brownie. They have always been my favorite chocolatey treat and I love them in every form. With this brownie, say hello to chocolate overload! There are four different chocolates in this recipe and each plays a very significant role in bringing together amazing flavor. The bitter chocolates complement one another, the white chocolate mixes in its vanilla notes and milk chocolate offers a smooth and creamy flavor.
2. Twice the Chocolate Delectovals. If the first recipe is somehow too much chocolate for you, let’s cut it in half with these twice as nice chocolate treats. Instead of using traditional white cream filling that’s popular in snack cakes, this recipe calls for luscious chocolate filling.
3. Salted Caramel Pretzel Brownies. These ultra-fudgy brownies are topped with a layer of rich, creamy Salted Caramel-flavored white chocolate ganache. Pretzel bits are stirred into the brownie and then dusted over the top, providing a satisfying and salty crunch in every bite.
4. Dark Chocolate Orange Cake. I know. This one might seem a little strange. I’ve often seen the chocolate-orange flavor combination and thought it sounded awful. But then one day, I tried this cake in the Test Kitchen and it was absolutely phenomenal. I even brought a slice home to my parents – who I blame for my chocolate addiction – but didn’t tell them about the orange, because I knew it would weird them out. Sure enough, they loved it too and were so surprised when I told them there was orange in the cake! It pairs so well with the dark chocolate and adds a subtle and unique flavor.

I would love to have your recipie for the candy filled pretzels, where can I get it?
Thank you so much.

Hi Desiree: I have a Wilton Microbake Christmas Tree cake pan. I have had it for a very long time and would like to use it this year for the first time. Can I use a regular cake mix and does it take the whole mix. How can long does it take to cook in the microwave? Thank you, Kitty
Hi Kitty,
I had to ask around here at Wilton to learn about the microbake pans! We have not produced these pans since the early 90’s and have limited information on them. One of our decorators said if she were to use the pan, she would fill it up 2/3 the way with water and then measure that amount to use as a guide for how much batter to use. As for cooking time, we recommend checking the cake after about 6 minutes. Insert a toothpick in the center to see if the cake comes out clean. If not, continue to microwave in 30 second increments.
Good luck,
Desiree
