Strawberry Champagne Filled Candies

Forget the boxed chocolates, these homemade Strawberry Champagne Filled Candies are the perfect way to show someone how much you care.  These cute candies would also be great to give as wedding favors or treats for a bridal shower.

Step 1: In a disposable decorating bag, melt dark cocoa Candy Melts candy according to package directions.

Step 2: Fill Silicone Petite Hearts Mold 1/3 full with melted candy. Using decorating brush, paint candy up sides of each cavity. Refrigerate 5-10 minutes or until candy is firm.

Step 3: In small bowl, combine marshmallow fluff, strawberry preserves, and Crisp Champagne Flavor concentrate; mix until smooth. Place in disposable decorating bag.

Step 4: Fill candy cups 3/4 full with marshmallow mixture. Cover mixture with thin layer of melted candy, reheating candy if necessary. Tap mold to level. Chill 15-20 minutes or until completely set.

Step 5: Unmold candies. Reheat remaining candy and drizzle over tops, sprinkling with nonpareils if desired.

Makes 1 dozen candies.

Hearts in Twists Candy Bark

These delicious pretzel bites are surrounded in a bed of chocolate and topped with a cute little heart, making them great edible Valentine’s for kids and adults.  One recipe makes 48 squares, so this is a great treat if you need to make a lot of goodies for a party or classroom.

Step 1 – Prepare candy: Melt two bags Light Cocoa Candy Melts Candy according to package directions.  Pour melted candy into cookie pan.  Tap pan to spread candy evenly.  Make six rows of eight pretzels, pushing down slightly to set pretzel.

Sprinkle with nonpareils and chill until set, about five minutes.

Step 2 – Make hearts: Melt 6 oz. White Candy Melts Candy according to package directions.  Place melted candy into parchment bag.  Cut small hole in tip of bag.  Pipe white candy inside pretzel to form heart shape.  Immediately add one Jumbo Heart Sprinkle to center of heart, pushing down slightly to set.  Continue until all pretzels are filled.  Chill until set, 30 to 35 minutes.

Step 3 – Unmold candy: Transfer entire piece to cake board and let come to room temperature.  Using a knife, cut candy into squares.
