With the 4th of July just weeks away, we want to tell all of you about some fun treats that would be perfect for the holiday celebrations. We got in touch with Beth Klosterboer of Hungry Happenings, who has a ton of festive 4th of July ideas! Check some of them out below.

It’s graduation party season! When Beth from Hungry Happenings sent me her latest blog post on this autograph hound, I first thought I was looking at a stuffed animal. It wasn’t until I read the headline that I realized the little guy is made from fondant!
The latest cupcake creation from Beth at Hungry Happenings has my heart fluttering. These beautiful peach cobbler flavored cupcakes are just perfect in Wilton’s butterfly pleated baking cups. Beth’s inspiration for these cupcakes comes from her mother and are a lovely little sweet treat for Mother’s Day.
We’ll start with Marilyn from Pink Martinis and Pearls, who has fond memories of watching her mother bake in the kitchen. Every birthday was celebrated with a homemade cake and one day, her mother made a chocolate cake that has since earned the title of “best ever in all the land”. This cake has even won 2 blue ribbons at county fairs! But before I steal Marilyn’s thunder, I’ll let her tell the story herself, as she does it so well.
I might have to make Marilyn Johnson, of Pink Martinis and Pearls, a cape, because she just became my new entertaining supershero (she+hero=shero).
Granted, she’s a Sweet Treat Team Brand Ambassador, but she made the most splendid quiche for a springtime brunch using the Springtime Cupcake Pan. It would be perfect for Easter or Mother’s Day or just a get-together with the girls some weekend. But folks, that’s not all she did. You’ve gotta go over to her blog and see what she did with leeks. Waiting on Martha founder Mandy Kellogg Rye and I have two things in common. First, we both hail from the same undergrad institution. (Though, I’m guessing I was living in the dorms the year she arrived in this world.) But, much more importantly, we both think the Easter bunny ears from the Wilton PEEPS Cupcake Combo are irresistible! (more…)
