Make Beautiful Spring Petit Fours Using the New Mini Cut-Outs Set

April 23rd, 2014 by Desiree Smith

If you’re enthralled with tiny treats like I am, you should make a batch of these Blossom Blush Petit Fours. I’ll walk you through the steps in this video, so you can make them along with me!

I poured pink Wilton Candy Melts candy over the mini cakes so they stay moist.

The gum paste flowers are so easy to make, thanks to the new Wilton Mini Cut-Outs Set. With three designs in the ejector-style set, you can make dozens of mini decorations in no time. I used the flower and leaf set for these petit fours, but the Mini Fondant Cut-Outs Sets are also available in heart set and a classic shape set of a star, elongated diamond and circle.

To give the flowers a metallic finish, I painted the inside of each flower with Pearl Dust edible accents.

I’d love to hear from you. Tell me whether you’ll make these petit fours using the new Mini Cut-Outs Sets or whether you have other fun projects planned using them.
