Peach Cobbler Butterfly Cupcakes

May 8th, 2015 by Desiree Smith

The latest cupcake creation from Beth at Hungry Happenings has my heart fluttering. These beautiful peach cobbler flavored cupcakes are just perfect in Wilton’s butterfly pleated baking cups. Beth’s inspiration for these cupcakes comes from her mother and are a lovely little sweet treat for Mother’s Day.

“Everything about these cupcakes makes me think of my mom, the artist, the dreamer, the romantic,” said Beth. “She is just as colorful as these cupcakes and equally as sweet. She has always found a way to fly through life, flitting from one creative endeavor to the next.” I don’t think I’ve ever seen such an embodiment in cupcake form, but the description matches the sweet treat to a “T”! Beth incorporated the peach cobbler flavor with the new Treatology™ Flavor System and shows off her cupcakes in style using the new Display Your Way Cupcake Tower. Finally, she tops each cupcake off with some swirled icing using the Color Swirl coupler and a delicate butterfly icing decoration. Get the full how-to here to make these cupcakes for mom or someone special!

For over 100 years, mothers have had a special day that honors the care, love and guidance they provide to their children. They say it takes a village to raise a child, and many of us are blessed with more than one special woman in our life – aunts, sisters, grandmothers, friends, mentors. In celebration of Mother’s Day, we’d like to share a story each day from now until May 10 from our Wilton Test Kitchen as well as our Wilton Sweet Treat Team honoring the females who have inspired them most.
