Light and airy, these Bat and Moon Meringue Pops are an easy to make treat. Great for Halloween parties, showers and more, these crispy, sweet cookie pops are a decadent delight you’re sure to love.
Make meringue. Make basic meringue batter following recipe instructions. Divide batter in half. Using Black icing color, tint one portion black. Reserve other portion white.
Pipe meringues. Print out Bat and Moon template.Place template on cookie sheet, then cover with parchment paper.Prepare decorating bag with tip 103 and white meringue batter. Using zig-zag technique and moon template, pipe moons.Prepare decorating bag with tip 21 and black meringue batter. Following bat template, pipe bats. Start with wings – piping three curved lines from body to point of wing tip. Pipe rosette for body and small pull-out stars for ears.
Decorate meringues. Top piped meringues with Halloween sprinkles, excluding the silver bats (but leave space for them to be added later). Insert one lollipop stick into each meringue.Bake and cool following recipe instructions. Melt Bright White Candy Melts candy according to package instructions. Using small amount of melted candy, attach silver bat sprinkles to meringues. Let set, about 5 minutes
