Take the Press-sure Out of Cake Decorating

April 19th, 2013 by Desiree Smith

Do you have a fear of writing a message on your cakes? I do. I struggle with proper letter spacing, the height of each letter, and the message is usually creeping up or down the cake. My freehand writing looks like a ransom note.

88 Piece Number/Letter Press Set Help is here. Printing on cakes just got a little easier with Wilton’s new press sets. A professional looking greeting is as easy as imprinting a message on your cake, then tracing over it with icing. The sets work on both buttercream and fondant cakes.

Take a look at our quick video as Valerie shows you how easy it is to add a personalized message to your cake.

  3. A really good idea…baking a cake for a special event can be stressful enough without worrying about getting the lettering right at the end! Well done Wilton 🙂
