Use Halloween Cutters For So Much More Than Cookies

October 6th, 2009 by Desiree Smith

With Halloween just a few weeks away, it’s time to call on Halloween cookie cutters to add fun to the festivities. But if you think Halloween cutters are only meant for cookies, you’ll be surprised.

Using Wilton Halloween cookies cutters, it’s easy to fill your Halloween party treat table with all kinds of terrific tastes in fun shapes. For thicker goodies like rice cereal treats and brownies, you can cut a perfect single serving with our Comfort-Grip Cutters. You’ll find them in spooky shapes like bats, ghosts and pumpkins that the kids will love. Dressing them up is so easy too. Just warm up our Cookie Icing in the microwave, then squeeze it on your treat. Top it off with a fun icing decoration and watch them get snatched up.

Of course, because Comfort-Grip cutters have a cushioned handle and extra-high sides, you’ll love them for cookies too. One great trick you’ll want to try is to color your cookie dough in a scary shade using Wilton Icing Colors. Add a few drops to the dough, then knead it in. Everyone will love cookies in Halloween green, orange and violet!

With so many Wilton Halloween cutter shapes and styles available, there’s no end to the fun you can have. Add more color to the table with jiggly gelatin bites-use the a firm gelatin recipe, then cut shapes with any Wilton cookie cutter to shake up the celebration. You can also create spooky sand-witches, with meats, cheese and bread cut with your favorite cutter shapes. Give your guests a healthy option too by cutting fruit shapes and inserting lollipop sticks. It’s a guilt-free treat boo-quet that really stands out at the party.

Happy Baking, Decorating and Memory Making.
