    Hello Shawn,
I operate from a Registered Kitchen/studio with class room space on the North Shore in Auckland, New Zealand. I am Art school trained and 10 years ago did Cake Decorating Night school for 3 years and joined The New Zealand Cake Decorators Guild. At our club I am on the committee and regularly do demonstrations. I always intended to offer classes, however, I am very interested in doing so under the “Wilton umbrella” as I use almost exclusively Wilton products after an introduction to it when visiting Maryland a few years ago.
If you would be interested in using me I would be delighted.

I would like to become a Wilton instructor. I have taken Wilton cake decorating classes in the past and am presently enrolled in the Michael’s July 2016 class. The class is a basic cake decorating class. Since I am familiar with the basics and I have all the necessary supplies, this is a refresher class. I am looking forward to having fun decorating baked goodies. I am also interested in taking advanced classes in the future to further my skills in order to instruct those advanced classes at JoAnn Fabric & Crafts. Thank you.

I am 41 years old and mother of 2 boys.I have always had a creative flair.I am trying to start cake decorating and have already bought the Wilton method student books and a lot of the tools.
I am working part time at Publix for the last 8 months and am trying to transfer to a cake decorator apprentice position.I realize though although I would love the experience but my creativity will not be satisfied after a while with the clone cakes that are produced massively there.
I do not want to open my own business right now but would love to work on customized cakes at a good bakery but I live in Tallahassee and we do not have many of these. Finally I would love to teach if there is a career path for this in Wilton. What should I do?How should I go about it?
I recently had one day of fondant and one day of buttercream at the Biltmore hotel in Miami and I absolutely loved it!!
