Bastille Day is a holiday celebrated in France, and many French-speaking countries, on July 14th. It marks the storming of the Bastille prison in 1789, which was the beginning of the French Revolution.

Several countries, including France, Canada and The United States, have cherished customs to celebrate Bastille Day.
