Strawberry Cake Filling
- 12 Ounces Frozen Whole Strawberries
- 1 Cup Granulated Sugar
- 1 Cup Water
- 3 Tablespoons Cornstarch
- 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
- In a medium saucepan, combine strawberries, sugar, water, cornstarch and lemon juice.
- Bring mixture to boil, stirring occasionally
- Once boiling, cook mixture for 13-15 minutes or until strawberries have broken down and mixture has thickened.
- Cool completely. Transfer to a large bowl and refrigerate for 3-4 hours before using.
